http://radiofragments.tumblr.com

This week’s theme comes from Tim, who suggested ‘modes of transport’. Not just planes, trains and automobiles (though I definitely have those covered), but I throw in boats, rockets, elevators, and a bike.

Thanks Tim!

This week also marks my first attempt using a new technology stack, so instead of seeing the show listed here, I'm going to point you over to http://radiofragments.tumblr.com where I'm hosting the site, and using MixCloud to host a streaming version of the show. (MP3s are still available for those who want them).

Let me know what you think!

Wow it's nice to be back. Sorry for the extended absence, my wife had surgery and I was just to preoccupied and wiped out to do the show. But that means I'm back with a backlog of great music. And a ton of it is vinyl, I think I set a record this week with about 75% of the show being vinyl sourced.

I've got a guy named Disco Tex, some great electronic music from around the world, a 20 minute funk groove by War, Vangelis when he still had a last name, and Canned Heat from an album that lied in pretty much every way it could, but the truth is always in the music...

The show is available from the streaming archive, or you can download the podcast/mp3 version by hour (below).
