Radio Fragments - Nostalgia for Two Weeks Ago
by Jeff on Mar.03, 2011,under Weekly Show
I had to skip two weeks of the show -- first for a business trip, then on account of the roads spontaneously turning into skating rinks -- and it really didn't take long to miss it. Being alone in the studio, lights down, late at night; playing my favorite music for an unsuspecting audience, singing along with the studio monitors turned up so I can't hear how bad I sing. Oh yeah, I missed it. Glad to be back at it this week.
It's been an interesting couple of weeks, as I've found myself back and exploring vinyl and some of the wonderful wird corners of the musical world that never made the transition to digital. A couple examples of that tonight, plus all the usual nonsense.
