Found Sound - Call for the time, in 1950

by Jeff on Nov.02, 2010,under News

It's no secret that I love little snippets of sound from other eras, and this is a great one.

These days, you're never at a loss for the exact time. Everyone has a phone with them with the time, and if you really want, you can go to the online... you can even automatically set your PC to that source. Pretty cool.

Before that, there were radio stations, or you could call this number as captured on a wire recorder in 1950...first off, she just has an awesome voice, second...she's doing it live! (Don't believe me? Wait for the sneeze :)
