Radio Fragments - Summer...blink and you missed it.
by Jeff on Sep.22, 2010,under Weekly Show
First day of Autumn...wtf? Where did summer go? Oh well, I suppose that's the risk you take when you...err...live...places? Ok, I guess I didn't think that through, but what do you want when I've got "Atom Bomb" cranked up on the monitors.
But that's just the start of what I've got for you this week. Afrobeat from Africa '70, Billie Holiday from 1939, the original instrumental version of one of my all time favorite vocal pieces, and a pair of 20 minute long tracks...oh, and the song that might just have convinced me to buy a mustang. Yes, it's that good a song. All that and more right here on Radio Fragments!
